I'm an engineer and I analyze a lot of data to determine the causes of manufacturing failures. I've been writing small SQL queries and analyzing the data. However, most Data Analyst job openings require specific industry experience and all my experience is in the semiconductor industry. There are no semiconductor companies where I'm looking for a job. Hello, I've been told by my peers that I am a good programmer. I see that there is a big demand for .Net developers. Yet I can not find a job. Can it be because I don't have a degree?
